Introducing the installation-dedicated C Series from Lab.gruppen. Lab.gruppen’s hallmark, tour-honed design philosophies are now available with innovative feature sets that are tailor-made for the fixed installation market. The flexible C Series of four-channel and eight-channel amplifiers (now expanded with the new C 88:4 — click on the tab above for more information) couple a space saving power-to-size ratio and high channel density to superb sound quality, continuous reliability, and a comprehensive six-year warranty. C Series amplifiers can be specified with full confidence in any type and size of sound installation.
All models include facilities for the individual adjustment of maximum voltage peak output and gain per channel, as well as bridge-mode operation selectable per channel pair. Advanced NomadLink® networking with remote monitoring and control facilities comes as standard.
The C 88:4 is the new flagship of the C Series and is the most powerful single frame, 4-channel installation amplifier ever built! Delivering an amazing 4 × 2200 W at 2 ohms, this amplifier is powerful enough for the most demanding of installed sound applications including, larger sub-woofers, large array systems and broader multi-power-level/impedance applications. Packaged in a compact 2U chassis, the C 88:4 sets a new benchmark for extreme power and flexibility in an installation-dedicated amplifier.
C Series amplifiers are uniquely capable of adapting to a wide variety of demanding load conditions. Each channel has an individually configurable Voltage Peak Limiter (VPL™), which allows the output to be optimized for any loudspeaker load – whether one massive subwoofer or a series of small 100/70 V loudspeakers. VPL works in combination with adjustable input gain to achieve maximum headroom regardless of input levels or output impedances.
Every C Series is ready for the NomadLink® network right out of the box. With NomadLink, key amplifier parameters are displayed via DeviceControl software, and remote control of channel mutes and power on/off is managed efficiently under network control.
