The latest evolution in our range of mixing consoles. High reliability is guaranteed by the usual attention to detail and to the highest quality of each single raw component: use of the latest PCB surface mount technologies, custom designed knobs, 100mm faders and peak LED indicators on each channel assure a very accurate control during complex mixes. The built-in power supply has been designed to operate effectively even at very low voltages, eliminating the risk of those annoying hum and buzz effects. As is customary for Montarbo products, sonic accuracy blends with the greatest ease of operation.
The standard configurations offer:
MX28: 16 ch. (12 mono + 4 stereo)
5 mono modules, 1 stereo module, 1 master module incorporating 2 DSP processors
• Each mono channel features balanced microphone XLR input (with switchable phantom power), unbalanced line jack input that doubles as insert input and insert out jack.
Each stereo channel is fitted with dual balanced stereo line (L/R) inputs on XLR and Jack sockets and mono button (selects 'R' input as a mono input);
• 3-band EQ, with parametric control of the mid-range on mono channels, 3 fixed bands EQ on stereo channels; 6 aux/monitor sends (pre-fade, post-eq), 2 effects sends (post-fade, post-eq), PFL (solo) switch, peak LED indicator and 100 mm fader on all channels.
• Two digital stereo multieffect processors based on 56-bit DSP with 24-bit Delta/Sigma conversion provide high performance digital audio processing combined with extremely easy operation thanks to the 2-line Liquid Crystal Display. This dual DSP provides 2x205 programs - all carefully tailored to today's requirements - with effects of outstanding audio quality: Early, Stereo Gen, Ping Pong, Halo, Delay, Detune, Flanger, Chorus, Ambience, Chamber, Room, Hall, Cathedral, Plate, Plate Dly, Big Space, EcoRev, Concert, Live, Gate Inside a Box , Living Room, Ptc Rev, Pitch, Distance, a group of effects for specific instruments Vox - Flute - Trumpet - Sax - Brass - Keybrd - Piano - Gtr - Drum - Toms - Cymb - Hihat - Kick - Snare – Tom and the ‘classic’ Montarbo effects Echo, Echo+Reverb, Voice Reverb, Halo+Reverb). The effects are independently routable to master L/R and aux/monitor outputs.
• L/R master outputs (unbalanced XLRs + insert stereo jack sockets) with 100 mm volume faders, 12-segment output level LED arrays, 10-band stereo graphic EQ with EQ/FLAT bypass switch.
• 6 aux/monitor outputs, each fitted with: 3-band EQ with parametric mid frequency, unbalanced XLR output + insert stereo jack socket, 12-segment output level LED array, PFL switch and 100 mm volume fader.
• 2 effect sends with independent volume controls; 2 stereo returns with volume control and balance, each assignable to the 6 aux sends and to the master L/R outputs with independent controls.
• The complete control facilities include the multiple LED level meter, the Mono output and the stereo Control Room output (to drive independent monitor speakers systems) and a Phones amplifier.
• Any external device may be connected to the XLR outputs and insert sockets of the master and aux outputs.
• Tape in/out L/R (PIN sockets) for tape recorder, with input volume control.
